Call Committee Challenge

The Call Committee Challenge (CCC) is a special initiative inspired by Rev. Jack Palzer to help Our St. John’s Lutheran Church of Red House, MD, secure a full-time pastor. Our goal is to raise 50% of our yearly operating income in just six months through increased giving, fundraisers, dinners, and community outreach. By working together and growing our church family, we can ensure a strong future for our congregation and its mission.

Giving FAQs

  • Giving supports the ministry, outreach, and daily operations of Our St. John’s Lutheran Church, allowing us to continue sharing God’s word, serving our community, and maintaining our historic place of worship. Your generosity ensures that we can sustain a full-time pastor and expand our mission for future generations.

  • You can give in several ways: online through our secure giving platform, by mailing a check, or by placing an offering in the collection plate during Sunday service. We also host fundraisers and special giving campaigns, like the Call Committee Challenge, where every contribution makes a difference.

  • Yes! While general offerings support the church’s overall needs, you can also designate your gift for specific ministries, building maintenance, mission projects, or the Call Committee Challenge. Simply indicate your preference when you give, and we will ensure your donation is used as intended.
